2009 AMA-MSS Interim Meeting
The 2009 AMA-MSS Interim Meeting was held Nov. 5-7, 2009, in Houston, Texas. More than 650 medical students from across the counrty attended the meeting, which featured a wide variety of educational programming, policy discussions, and other events. AMA-MSS elects new leaders
The AMA-MSS is pleased to announce the election of the AMA-MSS Chair-elect, Christopher Bucciarelli, University of Florida College of Medicine, and the Medical Student Trustee, Meredith Williams, Baylor College of Medicine, whose terms commence after the 2010 Annual Meeting.
AMA launches new Health System Reform Web page
The AMA has developed a dedicated health system reform Web page to provide medical students and physicians with the facts, breaking news, and Web links they need to keep up-to-speed on reform efforts. Visit the AMA HSR Web page today to sign up for e-updates, get the latest news, and take action.
Tune in to Radio Rounds
Radio Rounds, the first medical radio talk show in the country produced entirely by medical students, began its second season on August 9. The show is hosted by AMA student members from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Visit www.radiorounds.blogspot.com for listening options and a list of past and upcoming guest speakers. All past episodes are available as free podcast downloads on Apple iTunes by searching for "Radio Rounds."
