We are pleased to provide the following additional reports and resolutions that were received beyond those included in the advance Delegate's Handbook:

Revised Board of Trustees Report 17 (Word, 57KB), "Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Policy on Hospital Acquired Conditions - Present on Admission," referred to Reference Committee B. Please replace this report for the original in the Delegates Handbook.

Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs Report 2 (Word, 28KB), "Legal and Ethical Guidelines for Leasing Arrangements in Medical Imaging" AND "Misuse of Ancillary Office Exemption by a Referring Physician or Physician Group of a Different Specialty for the Purpose of Remuneration for Patient Referral," is an informational report.

Council on Science and Public Health Report 9, "Optimizing Care for Gay Men and Lesbians," referred to Reference Committee E.

Report of the House of Delegates Committee on Compensation of the Officers (Word, 88KB) referred to Reference Committee F.

Resolution 208 (Word, 39KB), Fairness in Medical Imaging Interpretation, has been revised. Please substitute for the original resolution submitted in the handbook.

Also, please note that there has been one referral change. Board of Trustees Report 1 (Word, 84KB), "Communication Between Hospitals and Primary Care Referring Physicians," which was included in the Handbook, is being moved from Reference Committee E to Reference Committee G.

Finally, your Speakers wish to inform you that the charts listing actions taken in follow-up to resolutions and report recommendations from the 2007 Annual and Interim Meetings will be posted on the Annual Meeting Web site. Copies will also be available at the meeting.

We want to get this material to you in advance so that you will have the opportunity to review it prior to your departure for the Annual Meeting.
