Nancy Kyler of Staunton, Virginia, is the Immediate Past President of the American Medical Association Alliance in June 2009.
Nancy previously served as President, President-elect, Secretary, Director for two terms, Legislation Chair, a member of the Legislation Committee, as the Alliance representative to the American Medical Association’s Council on Legislation and as Chair of the Legislative Education and Awareness Promotion (LEAP) Awards.
Nancy has served as served in many positions, including president of both the Medical Society of Virginia Alliance and Rockingham County Medical Society Alliance.
Nancy currently serves on the Board of Governors for Stuart Hall School, including the Governance Committee, as well as the Marketing/Admissions Committee. She has served as a trustee on the Medical Society of Virginia Foundation, Harrisonburg-Rockingham Free Clinic, Historic Staunton Foundation, Harrisonburg-Rockingham American Cancer Society and Hunter McGuire School Board, where she also served as Board Chair.
Nancy and her husband Robert, a radiation oncologist, have two children. Nancy enjoys reading, biking, traveling and relaxing at their cottage in Chautauqua Institution, New York.
