AMA-IPPS Meetings & Events

The 2016 IPPS Interim Meeting will be held November 11 at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Resort in Orlando.

Join us to see the IPPS mission in action: "To advance, through policy and education, the interests of multi-specialty, physician-led, integrated health care delivery, and groups actively working toward such systems of coordinated care."

Meeting agenda

The 2016 IPPS Interim Meeting will kick off with a welcome reception at 6 pm on Thursday, November 10. The meeting is scheduled to run from 8 am to 4:30 pm on Friday, November 11.

A detailed meeting agenda, including preliminary information about education programs, will be available soon.

Online meeting registration will open in late August.

Hotel accommodations

Please note that IPPS events will be held at the Swan Resort, while House of Delegates events will be held at the Dolphin Resort. The two hotels are adjacent to one another and connected by a covered outdoor walkway. The AMA's block of reserved rooms is at the Dolphin Resort.

Resolution submission

IPPS meetings present a variety of unique opportunities for physician leaders from across the country to discuss and take action on issues vital to physician-led integrated group practices. We hope that you will consider contributing to the discussion by submitting a resolution for consideration at the meeting. If you have an idea for a resolution but aren’t quite sure what to do next, please contact us. IPPS leadership and staff are happy to help Section members develop and draft high-quality resolutions on relevant topics.

Resolutions are due October 1 (email to carrie.waller@ama-assn.org) and should be drafted using the IPPS resolution template.

Become an IPPS representative

Although all AMA members are invited to attend IPPS meetings, only certified IPPS representatives may fully participate (e.g., submit resolutions, make motions, vote).

To serve as an official representative for your organization, please complete the certification form. Contact Carrie Waller at carrie.waller@ama-assn.org or (312)464-4546 with any questions.
